Meet Simone! Her mission is to empower women to live a life of passion, purpose, and confidence! She runs Simone McKenna Fitness LLC, which provides fun fitness opportunities, health education and a community that provides the support and encouragement to help you meet your goals!
For Simone, she loves that her job as a trainer and coach allows her to work so closely with people. Getting to learn about each individual, what motivates them, what their goals are, and why they want to reach those goals is her favorite part of her business. It also what helps her to be so awesome at helping people to create healthy habits, find balance, and feel confident!

1 ) She’s an Aussie Babe! She was born and raised in Perth, Australia, but has happily called Columbus, Ohio home since September 2016!
2 ) She has a Bachelor of Education from Notre Dame University! She even worked as a classroom teacher and sports co-ordinator at a Primary school (back in Australia) for 7 years
3) Her is dedicated to her goal of motivating and encouraging others to find their passion for living a happy and healthy lifestyle! She does this by sharing her love of food and cooking through creating recipes on her website for others to enjoy.

4) Her hobbies (besides training and eating) include traveling, reading, writing, and renovating/decorating her home
5) And her absolute favourite things? Peanut Butter, Red Wine, and Coffee!! She’s also a big fan of fireworks, watching the sunrise, and the ocean
The biggest thing she’s learned from her business? That being busy does not always equal being productive. “I used to spend hours doing things that I thought were important, but they were not tasks that were moving my business forward.” So she started out writing out her short & long term goals. Next, she wrote out her to-do list, and a set of daily tasks that were non-negotiable that would help her to reach her goals. She also began to dedicate time to both her personal & professional development, whether it be reading books, listening to a podcast, or attending live seminars.
One piece of advice she’d give to someone looking to become a trainer and/or fitness influencer? Remember that you are a walking billboard for your business. This means you’ve gotta look the part, live the lifestyle, and breathe the energy into everything that you do! People want to be inspired by your body, motivated by your words and empowered by your vibe!
As for finding others that can help you reach your goals. Simone advises that Networking is EVERYTHING!! Dedicate time to going to an event each week, get involved with a local charity or something that you believe in, and dive into facebook groups. “Step out of your comfort zone...and regularly.”
Lastly, Simone shares the beautiful belief she lives by:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves: "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?" Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. You playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; It's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
